We Pray

Do not forget to pray every day! God bless you!

We pray. We are to pray every day.

The Lord commands us to pray before every meal. The Lord commands us to pray in the mornings. The Lord commands us to pray wherever we are and wherever we go. The question is, “Are you obeying God through praying?”

~”Pray without ceasing.”~ 1 Thessalonians 5:17, ESV~

The Lord God views prayer as an act of service to Him. This means that every time that we pray, we are giving of ourselves to the Lord. We are being selfless as we pray for those, who are in the world, and who need prayer. We are even being selfless as we pray for ourselves in this world too because we are edifying ourselves as we pray to the Lord as we build each other up in God’s Word and in holiness.

The Lord God views prayer as an act of humility to Him. This means that every time that we pray that we are humbling ourselves as we stand in the presence of Almighty God. We are kneeling, with our knees on the ground and our tongues confessing our sins and praying for forgiveness of sins for ourselves and others as we pray.

The Lord God loves when His people come before Him and pray. One reason is because prayer is an act of worship before the Lord God. Prayer is one way that the Lord’s people can come before Him and worship Him. You, as a child of God, can worship the Lord God through simply opening up your mouth and praying to the King of kings and Lord of lords The Lord loves when His people pray to Him!

~”But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”~ Matthew 6:6, ESV~

~”Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”~ Romans 8:26, ESV~

When you pray before the Lord God, you present your petitions before Him. These petitions can be regarding the desires of Your heart. They can be regarding the new job that you desire to have. They can also be regarding your friends and family members. Your prayer requests are extremely important to the Lord Almighty.

I encourage you, O child of God, to not give up and to let the Holy Spirit of God take control as you pray to God. I encourage you, O child of God, to not give up and to keep pressing onto your daily goals in Christ Jesus. I encourage you, O child of God, to not give up and to keep praying to the Lord, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Do not give up and keep on praying to God today, in the Name of Jesus Christ! God bless you!
