You can make a positive impact in whoever you touch. If you enjoy your work, it makes a bigger impact.”

At the age of five years old, Burns made the decision to follow Jesus as her Lord and Savior after her father led her to pray for Jesus to be Lord of her life. Burns’ father is an elder of her church.

Burns’ decision to follow Jesus has influenced her faith in many ways.

“I remember when we [Burns and her father] prayed,” Burns tells Atlanta Christian Voice. “I think that one of the things that I am proud of is that my mother and my father have a good character. They really exhibited God’s love and were really unconditional in their love and I know that they get that example from their relationship with God.”

The decision that Burns made to follow Jesus has impacted her role as game show hosts for these TV series for many reasons.

I interact with the contestants and show them grace and encouragement,” Burns tells Atlanta Christian Voice. “They feel drawn to me because of my spirit. I also show them appreciation and gratitude and that we are all in this together.”

“I am one of the busiest people out there in my house,” Burns tells Atlanta Christian Voice. “I’ve been doing painting, embracing my inner Preschool teacher, cooking and face painting.”

Burns encourages families to watch the Game Show Network, especially during this time of the Coronavirus pandemic.

“I think it’s really important that relationships are the most important time and that bonding is really special with family,” Burns tells Atlanta Christian Voice. “It’s universal watching for everyone.
