woke up and went outside as I was taking out the trash this morning and noticed that the sky looked dark and cloudy. I thought to myself, “It’s probably going to rain today.”
Even though it is probably going to rain today, I thank God for the rain. The rain washes the pollen off of the cars. The rain gives nutrients to the flowers, trees and other plants that need it. The rain creates puddles for little children to run, splash around and play.
I thank God for the rain because it waters the earth. The rain waters the oceans, rivers, lakes and ponds that need it and gives nutrients to animals. Deer rely on water to drink from lakes and ponds. Ducks needs water to swim around with their ducklings. Fish need water to swim around in the deep, vast oceans and lakes around the world.
I thank God for the rain because it waters the earth.
Humans need water just as animals need water. They need water to drink. They need water to shower themselves and to bathe in water. They need water to cook and boil food. They need water for cleaning pots, pans and other cooking tools. Water is essential for the survival of animals and humans and is why God created water at the beginning of the creation of the earth.
~”In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”~Genesis 1:1-2, NIV~
God knew that water was essential and would continue to be essential for the survival of all living creatures. God also knew that water would be essential for the survival of non-living creatures. God knew that water would be very important for all to use in everyday life and living.
And it is with this note that I praise the Lord for the rain and water that He graciously provides us! I praise the Lord for the rain especially because I can dance in the rain, worship the Lord in the rain and thank Jesus for the rain as it splashes over me.
Whether it rains or not today, I will praise and thank the Lord for the rain anyways. I will praise and thank God for the rain and for the life that the waters of the rain provide for me, my friends, my family and all walks of life upon this green earth. I thank and praise God as I thank His Son for the rain!
”Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”~Psalm 150:6, NIV~
I thank and praise God as I thank His Son for the rain!
I praise the Lord in this moment for the rain! I thank the Lord through means of praising Him through the rain! It is in this moment that I sing and dance in the rain as I thank and praise the Lord for the rain!
~”Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.”~Psalm 150:1, NIV~
Praise the Lord for the rain! Thank You God for the rain! Hallelujah!!
