his evening, I sat on my bed in my bedroom and prayed outloud.
Yesterday, I prayed in solitude. Again, I prayed in solitude today. I thank God for the time that I have with God through prayer in this time of uncertainty. Solitude is beautiful, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
~” But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”~Matthew 6:6, ESV~
Prayer in solitude is beautiful because it allows for me to connect with God in that secret place. I abide in the shadow of God’s wings as I pray in that secret place.
Prayer in solitude is beautiful because it allows for me to connect with God in that secret place.
As I prayed to the Lord in my bedroom, I heard His Holy Spirit of God say to me: “Stay with Me.”
Then, I had a vision that the arms of Jesus were outstretched towards me, wanting to give me a hug. I gladly embraced that hug from Jesus as a sign from above that God has not forgotten me and that He loves me.
I gave God a hug back in return as I let His Holy Spirit guide me into the arms of Jesus. It was a really sweet moment that I had with the Lord as I let His arms embrace me: all of me, during the moment of peace and quiet that I had with Him through prayer.
~” We love because he first loved us.”~1 John 4:19,NIV~
In that moment, I took a deep breath. I breathed in. I breathed out. I let the Holy Spirit of God fall afresh on me and show me the cross. God showed me the cross. Then, He showed me King Jesus.
Jesus was nailed on a cross for me. Jesus shed His blood for me. Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross so that we could come to repentance as He forgave us of our sins first.
I thank God for the cross. I thank God for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross because it points me to the Ultimate Prize: God, in Christ Jesus.
~” I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”~Philippians 3:14, ESV~
In the end, I will win God the Father. In the end, I will win Jesus Christ. In the end, I will win through the power of the Holy Spirit. I will!
