o you feel hopeless? What is the reason for the hope that you have? From where does your hope stem from?
I know that for me, the hope that I have in Jesus Christ comes from the choice that I make: to persevere as I press on towards that High Mark that is found in Jesus Christ.
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”~Romans 5: 3-4, New International Version~
~” I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”~Philippians 3:14, English Standard Version~
I have moments in which I get discouraged. A couple of weeks ago, a person in my family, who is not a Christian, told me that I am a bad example for Christ. I am not perfect and there are going to be moments in which I mess up. But, it is in those moments of imperfection in my life that the Holy Spirit of God is able to point me to God the Father. Christ is my Redeemer.
Christ is my Redeemer.
~”I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.”~Job 19:25, New International Version~
It is in these imperfect moments that the light of Christ shines brighter within me as I choose to make Himself known to this family member and to those, who do not know Him.
In Christ alone, I stand. I stand in God alone, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
~” Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am the one who has laid as a foundation in Zion, a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation: ‘Whoever believes will not be in haste.’”Isaiah 28:16, English Standard Version~
It does not matter what my family members choose to think of me. It does not matter what members of my church think of me. My hope is found in God alone, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Even if my family members choose to judge me and persecute me for my faith in Jesus and even if I am misunderstood by members of my church, I will continue to press on and seek God, until the end. I will press on and seek God until my final breath.
I will continue to press on and seek God, until the end. I will press on and seek God until my final breath.
God is, and was, and is to come with His Kingdom come, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
It is my prayer that all of my family be saved. It is my prayer that those, who have mistreated me and betrayed me, will repent of their wicked ways and cry out for the One and Only Savior of this world that died for their sins in order to make them new again.
~” If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”2 Chronicles 7:14, English Standard Version~
As you can see, it is my prayer that you will go and tell about Jesus to your loved ones, even if it means ultimate humiliation for His Name’s sake. Let us pray:
Thank You for conviction. Thank You that Your Holy Spirit has the power to open the eyes of the blind, so that they may see Your Son, and open the ears of the deaf, so that they can hear Your Word. Thank You that Your Holy Spirit is empowering each and every reader to stand strong, in the midst of persecution, their oppressors, and their opposers. I pray that every reader will hold fast to the Truth of what Your Word says and that they will not want or lack nothing in the midst of persecution. Show each reader the reason for their hope and to not quit as they press on and seek the Kingdom of Jesus Christ daily. I pray that You will send Your Kingdom come to them as a sign for their hope in Jesus Christ. Bless every reader with abundance as You make rich and add no sorrow. I give You the glory, the honor, and the praise.
In Jesus’ Name,
God bless you!!
