am waiting. I am waiting patiently for the Lord to reveal to me who my future husband is and to whom I will marry.
I do not want to rush. I want to take this process that God is allowing for me to go through slowly. This is because I do not want to make the wrong decision. I want to marry my Adam so that I can become His Eve.
I want to marry my Adam so that I can become His Eve.
~” Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”~Proverbs 31:31, NIV~
I desire for me and my husband to bring God glory together. I desire for the both of us to worship Him together as we sing His praises at church. I desire for us to travel, study the Word of God together and be serious about following Jesus together. We must follow Jesus together. Two are better than one.
~”Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.”~Ecclesiastes 4:9, NIV~
Since me and my future husband are to follow Jesus together, we are to be serious and committed to each other and to Our Creator. We are to be serious and committed to the Scriptures of the Bible. Our marriage shall be a reflection of the King of kings and Lord of lords.
My future husband also must be a mature Christian. I am not saying that he has to be perfect; He just has to know Jesus deeply and very intimately and desire Him first in our marriage. My husband must see Jesus in me and I see Jesus in Him before making a commitment to marry me.
My husband must see Jesus in me and I see Jesus in Him before making a commitment to marry me.
My future husband must desire Jesus more than He desires me. This is essential for our marriage to work and for him to be a direct reflection of Christ in our marriage. This is also so that my future husband can be a reflection of a Godly leader. Godliness is imperative for our marriage to work.
Besides commitment to ourselves and Jesus, we will teach our children about Jesus together. We will teach our children to sing praises to Jesus through means of worship and to bring glory to God. This is so that they will grow up to become God-fearing men and women of this generation and pass the baton to their children and their children to their children’s children.
Now that you are reading this article, you understand why I will not just settle for any one. My future husband must love the Lord more than He loves me. He must desire Jesus more than he desires me. His heart must be for me just as it is for Jesus.

**After reading this article, please take the time to pray for me and that my future husband will find me as I seek the Lord first and hide myself in His Word. Thank you everyone and blessings!
