Hope For Asian Communities in America/Hope For the World

Share the Gospel with Asian communities across America today!

A few weeks ago, a shooting happened in Atlanta, Georgia.

The victims of the shooting happened to be Asian and were located near SPAs’ near the area of Atlanta. Hearing news events, such as this news event, saddens my heart, but gives me greater reason to share the love of God with ALL of God’s people, including those of Asian descent.

~”There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.  We love because he first loved us.”~1 John 4:18-19, NIV~

When I heard this news, my heart sank. I was going a rough time myself (I was in the hospital for a little over one week), yet when I heard this news, I immediately thought to myself, “What is this world coming to? First, Coronavirus, and now, racial hate?”

First, I want to make myself clear. God loves all people of every race. This includes those of Asian descent. God loves them so much that He sent Jesus to die for them on the cross and rise again on the third day.

Because Jesus died for those of Asian descent, He expects us to love them with the same love that His Son, Jesus, gave to them from the cross and from the grave after He rose from the grave. This is because the love of God is selfless.

~”Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”~1 Corinthians 13:4-8, ESV~

In this day and in this time, we must share the love of God with those around us so that they can experience the love of God and develop a desire in them to be the love of God through Jesus Christ in themselves to others around them. This includes those of Asian descent: they need to experience the love of God just as much as the rest of the world right now.

The love of God is only birthed through having a desire to share it with others and not just oneself. This is because all of the love of God is selfless. Love is not selfish; love is selfless.

~”Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”~Psalm 37:4, ESV~

Make it a desire of your heart to see the Asians of America reached. As you do so, then you will be fulfilling the heart of God, which is to see every person come to know His Son and to be saved. God bless you!
