Bring Him Glory and Honor (On this Day), in the Name of Jesus Christ

Choose Honor this Memorial Day, in the Name of Jesus Christ

Who do you honor. Does it matter to you?

Child of God: This Memorial Day, will you choose to honor our soldiers? Will you choose to honor our country? Salute our flag? How is this Biblical? Allow me to explain and please read further.

~”’Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor. Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust. For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly.”~ 1 Peter 2:17-19, English Standard Version~

Children of God: It is a command. It is a command from the Word of God that is found in Jesus Christ to honor everyone. From our parents to our siblings and even our soldiers, we are commanded by God to honor everyone.

Remember that the soldiers who have served for our country fought for our freedom. They fought for us to live in freedom. They fought for us to be able to go to church, worship not only privately, but publicly too. They even fought for us to even speak the Name of Jesus Christ openly and not just behind closed doors.

Remember that the soldiers who have served for our country fought for our freedom.

Do not forget. Do not ever forget that these soldiers even love freedom and its concept.

Child of God: Did you know that living in freedom is Biblical. Now, hear me when I say this. I’m not talking about freedom to live in sin. I’m talking about the freedom that is found in honoring and serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

~”Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things.”~Hebrews 13:18, English Standard Version~

Honoring and serving the Lord Jesus Christ is the same as honoring and serving our beloved country. Honoring and serving the Lord Jesus Christ is the same as honoring and serving our soldiers, both alive and fallen. Honoring and serving the Lord Jesus Christ is the same as saluting our flag with its red, white and blue stripes because it is the same as honoring our Ultimate, Fallen and Risen Solider, Jesus Christ.

If you do not honor the Ultimate, Fallen and Risen Solider and Savior of not just the world, but America too, then you cannot honor our country and it soldiers. Honor is not just a command: It’s Biblical too. Jesus honored us so much that He died for us to bring honor to Him.

Jesus honored us so much that He died for us to bring honor to Him.

~”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”~John 3:16, King James Version~

Jesus honored us like a fallen solider at the cross so that we can bring honor to Him as the Risen Savior of America and the world. Therefore, we are commanded to honor our soldiers, who sacrificed their lives so that we can walk in freedom, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

My word of encouragement for you is to walk in freedom and choose to honor both our country and its Fallen and Risen Solider and Savior our country, Jesus Christ. Thank you and Happy Memorial Day! God bless America!
