hat is freedom? What is the meaning of freedom to you? Is freedom what you create or is freedom what God originally intended for freedom to be?
What is freedom? What is the meaning of freedom to you? Is freedom what you create or is freedom what God originally intended for freedom to be?
These are all serious questions to ponder. Freedom, I believe, is a gift that comes from God. Allow me to explain.
~”Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”~2 Corinthians 3:17, King James Version~
The answer is in the above Scripture from the Bible. There is freedom and it comes from Jesus Christ. There is freedom, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Freedom is a gift from God for that reason: because freedom comes from Jesus Christ.
Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Before He went to the cross, freedom in God was not possible because His debt for us on the cross was not fully paid through His sacrifice on the cross.
The cross is very significant for this reason: because it led to the resurrection, which allows for all followers of Christ to partake in freedom that is found in and through the Son of God today.
~” For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”~Mark 10:45, New International Version~
The ransom that Jesus gave in exchange for His life was freedom. No person would be able to experience the freedom of God, in the Name of Jesus Christ, if it were not for this ransom. The ransom that Jesus gave us allows for everyone in this world to be able to experience freedom, in any given opportunity of witness or circumstance.
~”I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”~John 16:33, English Standard Version~
This ransom that Jesus gave us, in exchange for freedom, applies not only for America, but for everyone today. From Europe to Australia to East Asia, the freedom of Jesus Christ is an opportunity for all to come to know the Son of God so that they too can prepare the Way of the Lord to the lost and those who need Jesus.
America: Do not forget the true reason that everyone experiences freedom today. It is because of the sacrifice that Jesus paid through His death on the cross and through the resurrection of His body. The sacrifice that our soldiers paid for all to experience freedom is true, but the main reason that we can experience freedom, in a spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical sense today is because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
America: Let’s not forget the Truth. We cannot be against the Word of God, but for God and what His Word states today.
~”What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”~Romans 8:31, New Living Translation~
God bless America and God bless you! Happy Independence Day!
