od bless you Atlanta and Happy Thanksgiving!
Atlanta: What are you thankful for the most? Are you thankful…..in EVERY circumstance, whether it be good or bad? I am even asking myself this very question as I do a personal inventory of my soul and let God show me…..
Atlanta: The LORD your God commands you to be thankful in the good, the bad, and the ugly because it glorifies Him, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
~”And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”~Romans 8:28, New International Version~
Yes, Atlanta. All things. This means that you must thank God in every circumstance, in every situation, in the sunshine and rain, for people you like that He has put in this stage of your life, and for people that you have a hard time sharing the unconditional love of His Son, Jesus Christ with.

It could very well be the little girl who has temper tamtrums at a daycare and you ask God what He wants you to learn with the heart of a child. Thank God for the little girl and hard circumstance as you ask God what He is trying to teach you through the little girl.
It could very well be the sibling that simply does not want to hear about Jesus or the Word of God AT ALL in his or her life. I thank God for using my siblings and this case to teach me humility as I meet them where they are at with the hands and feet of Jesus Christ
It could very well be the parent who struggles from a mental illness and God is showing you how to love the parent in the Way of Jesus Christ that honors God while setting constructive boundaries. I thank God for my family, the situation, and for giving me grace to know how to set boundaries as God is teaching me and as I study mental illness and my Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling. I even thank God for the stress He is allowing me to go through as this is further teaching me how to show mercy, grace, and compassion towards those who struggle with mental illness and as God is showing me in my life experiences and studies.
Atlanta: God is real. So is Satan. Heaven is. And so is Hell. God can give you over to Satan like He did Job in the Bible in order to test you and your devotion, love, and humility for Christ.
The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it. Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”~Job 1:7-8, New International Version~
But be encouraged: You will not only come out of the dark as victorious, but you are already victorious in Jesus Christ. You are victory: you just have to know and believe in that abundant life that He wants you to walk into and claim it EVERYDAY.
You will not only come out of the dark as victorious, but you are already victorious in Jesus Christ. You are victory: you just have to know and believe in that abundant life that He wants you to walk into and claim it EVERYDAY.
~”Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”~John 6:35, New Living Translation~
All you have to do, Atlanta, is ask God for the keys of Heaven so that you can claim the abundant life and defeat the dark and trample over Satan and the strongholds in your life. Know this: you have already defeated Satan. You have already overcome hell. You just have to mentally know this and verbally speak life into yourself and others around you.
~“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”~Matthew 7:13-14, English Standard Version~
Don’t worry, Atlanta. God is not going anywhere. He is right here with you. And you are right in the palms of His hands. He loves you and is meeting your every need right now.
~”And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”~Philippians 4:19, New International Version~
Happy Thanksgiving Atlanta! God bless you!
