A Prayer of Thankfulness

Dear God,

I thank You for thankfulness. Thankfulness is a gift that should not be taken for granted in the Body of Christ. I pray for Your children to develop a heart of thankfulness to the things in life that matter, such as food to eat, having a job, friends, family and other things to be thankful for. I pray that the Body of Christ will learn to give thanks in everything for this is God’s will in Christ Jesus for them in both the good times and the bad times. I pray that these times of thankfulness will be filled with manna and blessings from above and that they will open doors of opportunity as a reward for the times of thankfulness. May doors of opportunity continue to open for Your children as a result of being thankful for the many things in life. I give You all of the glory, the honor and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,
