A Prayer for Gratitude

Dear God,

I thank You for gratitude. Gratitude is a gift that Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, gave at the cross and during His resurrection. I pray that Your people will continue to demonstrate gratitude, both during the good times and the bad times. I pray that they will seek You and Your face for gratitude when they are able to get food to eat, have clean clothes to wear, go outside and enjoy nature and do other activities. I pray that Your people will always demonstrate grateful hearts beyond Thanksgiving Day. I give You all of the glory, the honor and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!
