A Prayer for Contentment

Dear God,

I thank You for contentment. Contentment is a gift from You that Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, sent to me on the cross. I pray for Your children to seek You only for contentment and to look to You to be content in all circumstances regardless of what they may look like to them. I pray that Your children will be content in the good times and that they will be content in the bad times. I pray that Your children will seek Your Holy Spirit for contentment and for peace that surpasses all understanding that only Your Son, Jesus Christ, can provide through contentment. I give You all of the glory, the honor and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,
